About Us
Canon James Pearse Anglican College, a Christian co-educational full boarding school was founded on the 24th September 2007 by the Most Rev. (Prof.) Adebayo Dada Akinde (Rtd.) Pioneering Bishop of the Diocese of Lagos Mainland, church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion). The school was born out of the burning desire of the Bishop to set up a Christian institution of learning to complement government's effort in providing first class qualitative education for the total development of the child with emphasis on the inculcation of high moral standard and academic excellence based on the, fear of God that would enhance the survival strategies for coping with the challenges of life in general and the growing demands of a developing nation such as ours.

Our Organizational Structure
At the helm of the school's affair is the proprietor, who is supported by a Board of Governors (BOG). The school draws on the knowledge and expertise of this Board of Governors (BOG) consisting of successful professionals. The principal is supported by a senior management team consisting of the Vice-Principal, Chaplain, and Heads of Department. This senior management team supervises the various academic and non-academic staff as well as activities within the college.
